Qucik Rad ? ( 2 Views )

no kitty!
  1. Quick Rad ?

In my situation I have to have the rads inside the case. I have the fans blowing air from the inside of the case outside! Would I get some better temps to suck air from the outside to the inside of the case. I am thinking this due to the fact my room air temp is lower than my inside case air temp.

    THanks

  2. What are the specs of your rig? What are the specs of your watercooling loop?

And yes, you'll probably get better temps if the air blowing through your rad is taken from the outside of your case because of the reason you just mentioned. But it also depends of the configuration of the fans in your case and the placement of the rad.

  3. I have an antec soho case

    Right now a 3.2c at 3.8 going for 4.0

A cheap evercool wc 202 yeah it sucks I know but keeps my temps at 56c load

with 2 80mm radiators in the fans slots aboe the agp card slot

  4. What size of tubing does that evercool setup takes?

    Is this your case?:

  5. I'd suck air through the radiator, from the outside of the case... 58c Load is quite high (well, depends on the processor).

  6. having fan sucking air from the outside blowing air thru the radiator is way better than blowing air thru the radiator from the inside. inside air is hotter compared to outside air.

  7. yes that is my case. I am going to do some tinker this weekend I will switch my fans around and watch my temps to see if they change at all!

    It takes 6mm ID

    Thanks

  8. Ok, this is what you can do. You're gonna need a pair of these, 1/4" ID Radiator Outlet Fittings: , a rad box like this one and

a radiator of 1 x 120mm or 2 x 120mm in size (whichever you prefer) and set it up at the back of your case like so:

Since your tubing is of small diameter, you could pass it through your pci brackets in either configuration, so you don't have to make a couple of holes to your case.
