Problem with CD Drive ( 1 Views )

1. Hey guys I have a Averatec 3200 series laptop, but for some reason the cd drive wont open when I press the button, I have to use a paperclip to open it. Is there anyway I can fix this without purchasing a new drive?

2. The OS may be able to open the drive with a function key. Check along your function keys for a picture of a CD drive, and give it a shot.

4. Does right clicking the drive in my computer & selecting eject work?

5. no eject from the computer and physically doesnt work, have to use a paperclip each time i need to use the cd drive.
