Import Tax on Memory Modules ( 2 Views )

1. Hi everybody , i wanted to ask if anybody knows how much i will be paying for a item which is some Supertalant DDR1000 i have ordered from Ebay and that how much Import duty i will be paying for it ?
   
   I have already paid £210 , They are from the US to the UK.
   
   If anybody knows please enlighten me.

2. this is also something i would like to know as well.. my area is the ram itself, not the taxes involved with importing.

3. It depends on how it's shipped. If it's shipped UPS, then it's $20 + taxes. If tax in your area is 10%, and your modules are $200, then you pay $20 + $20 = $40. With USPS, if tax is 10%, modules are $200, then you pay $20.
   
   It's the tax of your state.

   We have VAT (value added tax) which is 17.5%. Its still weird though and i am still lost.
   
   Do i pay 17.5% plus brokerage which is £13 minimum?
   
   Also if VAT is that much then i am paying £35 for that and £13 for that , if that is the case then i have officially been whooped without lubricant. :(
