I am so confused... ( 2 Views )

1. So it's been quite a long time since I've been in the video card market (still rocking a Radeon 9600XT). Now that I have a PCI-E mainboard, I need a new video card.
   
   Now I am very confused when it comes to "what's good" between the 6000 series and 7000 series of nVidia cards. The 7600GT is cheaper than the 6800GT but is the 6800GT better? I dont quite understand. I'm lost in all the zeros and GT's GTX's GT OC WC RQ PQ XT's.
   
   Basically whats the best SLI-ready nVidia card I can get for around $150-$200?

   If you're looking for a PCI-E card in that range, then thats your best bet. However, bump up that budget to ~$220 and you could buy a used 7800GT.

   7600gt is the best card in that price range right now. You could get a 6600gt if you want to only spend $100, but it's obviously not as future proof as the 7600gt.

5. I've got a 7600 GT in my sister's computer and it runs Oblivion, probably one of the most graphically demanding games right now if not the most (not sure if it would be it or F.E.A.R.), very nicely at 1024x768 with no AA or AF. Sure, it's not as pretty as 1600x1200 with 4x AA/8x AF and HDR, but it's very pretty and playable. :)
