planning to get a T series for desktop replacement ( 3 Views )
-
Recently my computer died (not sure what I fried but seems the power supply wasnt the problem). I am looking to replace it pretty promptly. I was looking into a T60 or even T43 but running on a tight budget. Main need will be the DVD-R drive. Main functions will be movies/work/school. What kind of improvement is a duo core over single core? Something noticable even in everyday use?
1) How is IBM/Lenovo on their shipping, meaning if they say usually ships in 1 week, how likely am I going to get it within that timeframe.
2) Would anyone be willing to help with an EPP? I was looking to purchase one using the other # i found but it seems that doesnt work anymore.
Or should I just rely on ebay and hopefully land a deal there and get it shipped quickly to me? thx for any help ;(

ibm sucks on shipping. and your best bet with epp is to call your order in. Thats what i always do and get great deals. Generally the sales people do little things for you. My last ibm purchase was a t43p and i got a second battery for 50 bucks and upgraded my warranty to 3 years global for next to nothing.
