  1. The Hard drives I want to test are maxtors one is a 6Y80PO and the other is a 6Y160PO I want to do this test because I tripped over a wire and knocked my computer over while it was running and I want to see if any damage occured to my harddrives. So what is a good program to use? This is my HTPC Computer and it was not recording at the time of the incident. Thanks

  3. What ever the manufactor of your hard drives is has a utility for download. Windows itself has one.

  4. I used Maxtors and I did a full scan and it found no errors should I use windows Chkdsk on my drives also?
