Need Region Free w/o Firmware. Free Alternative to AnyDVD?!? ( 3 Views )

1. At work I have a user that needs uses their laptops for presentations and some DVDs are foreign, others are domestic. So she is constantly switching here region back and forth. But a month ago she was locked out of region 1 and can no longer switch back. She is now using VLC for her DVDs, but it is a pain for her since she is a novice. PowerDVD was much easier for her to navigate.
   
   This is my company’s laptop, it is a dell and I can’t find a firmware update for it. So a software update would be more to my liking.
   
   I have tried DVD43Free without any success, but I am also aware of DVD Region+CSS and DVD Genie. If anyone could give me any suggestions that would be great!
