program to copy, paste, and count words ( 1 Views )

1. can some one point me in the right direction as to how to do this. i need to wright(or if you by randomly have one, that works to) a program that would take the first 4 words of every syntence, and the number of owrds in the syntence, and put that into a exel, or other spread sheet. so that
   
   "the quick brown fox died slowly" goes into the spread sheet as
   
   the quick brown fox 6
   
   
   i would like to do this to papers that are several pages long

3. i just whipped this up, works okay but the sentences have to be well formed.
   
   just copy the text and paste it into the box.
