   I am going to buy the 7900gtx is it wise to go for brand name or just go for the
   cheaper one?

2. Try to find 1 with lifetime warranty from reptuable brand, prefer xfx-bfg-evga myself as ive had bad xp with pony. One year standard + extra $$ to extend to 3yrs. Gl in your quest for a new card!
