I Need a Laptop ( 2 Views )

1. Is it possible to get a Dell or HP notebook for $400-$500?
   
   My girlfriend needs one for work just to surf the web and send email. Nothing for gaming or anything crazy.
   
   Any good deals online or can you guys point me in the right direction.

   Go buy the Toshiba in this week's Best Buy ad.
   
   You should be able to get them to price match the 399 ad . . . ( floating around inet ).
   
   You can then spend about 60 bucks to upgrade the Ram to 1gb.
   
   The lappie will do all of that with ease. Sign up for the BB rewardzone to get some cash back.
   
   
   Some folks will say that if you spend this and do that you can get better performance. That's all relative. Prices are adjusted . . . to do JUST that . . convince the consumer he/she needs more than they do.
   
   Do it. You will be plenty happy with this. It won't break the bank either!!!!
