NEED HELP CRT DOA so I need advice on LCD ( 3 Views )

1. Ok I came home today from work turned on my CRT Monitior and Nothing I have no power to it, something went haywire on it. Damn it was allmost 3 years old and i had been looking for a Good LCD but was saving for one.
   Now what I need help with is I am a FPS Gamer to the Max, I play COD2 and run a server for my clan, I also play BF2 allmost every day.
   So I want atleast a 19 in LCD I was looking at a VX922 but I am tempted to get a 21in. What 21 in has the best refresh rates so i don't get any Ghosting or should I just get the VX922 19in and not look back.
   Please help me out with some imput as i need to get this Monitor in the next day or so.

2. Refresh rate has nothing to do withh ghosting. Ghosting arises from response time. Unless you have very sensitive eyes, 8ms should be fine.
   
   At 21", the most popular choice is probably the Gateway 2185. There are a lot more options available at 20", notably Dell and Viewsonic. Widescreen is definitely the way to go.

3. Sorry i meant response time, i was a little pissed when this died today i have only used it for a little over 2 years now but i think i mite go lcd this time. I have looked at the gateway and the bigger Dell 24 in but i don't really want to spend 800 bucks right now, Does the gateway do good in games as far as blur goes ? and yes a widescreen is what i would like to look for too. ;)

4. 24''FPW does great in games (Imo) I play bf2, dod, hl2dm sorta stuff and I havent noticed any problems, I have a 2 Month old ViewSonic 19'Flatscreen Black CRT (bought it in like 2004) gets up to 220hz refresh rates with some pretty slick detail , pm me if you're interested (sorry if this isn't allowed)

5. Well I kind of want to go LCD now to gain space on my desk, Im looking at all kinds of monitors just don't know whats best, has anybody ran a Acer Ferrari F-20 it looks pretty nice but i want a good one. I'm looking at the gateway now too it seems to be in my price range too. i would love to have a Dell 24in but man 800 mite be to much for me right now i still have to pay the TAX man lol.
