WPA Encryption (Ubuntu) ( 2 Views )

no kitty!
  1. I installed x86 5.10 Breezy Badger Ubuntu on my Dell D810 laptop which has an internal B/G adapter. If I enable WPA encryption on my AP, I lose wireless connectivity. Is there something that needs to be added to Ubuntu 5.10 in order to support WPA secured AP?

    Thanks for any support.

  2. You need to install the WPA Supplicant. It should be available through synaptic. Once you install that read the documentation that comes with it to learn how to configure it.
