Waterblock for Jetway mobo ( 2 Views )
-
Well I was going to put my old h20 kit in my Jetway Mini-Q, but I have the Danger Den water block that I used on my old Abit board and it requires to be bolted to the mobo. But on my Jetway motherboard, I do not have the 4 holes to mount it. What are my other options? Drilling holes in the mobo is not an option as there are traces going right around the CPU. Should I get another water block? I may as well just put everything back together for now :(

Yeah, very few conventional waterblocks will fit mATX mobos. I'd look around on FrozenCPU for a while and see what they have for sale.

Huh? There are tons of NB blocks that fit mobos. Some of the newer chipsets with IGP's such as the Xpress200 and the 6100IGP have smaller NB chips due to the 90nm process. If you have a mobo with a standard two-hole mounting pin design you can use virtually any waterblock from DD to A-C. If you have the 'new' small heatsinks with the very close pin holes then your SOL.

Ahh boo :(
Put everything back together and turned it on. Something was burning. Turned out a screw fell under the mobo shorting out something near the AGP slot. There goes that mobo. What should I replace it with?
Now I have that dang electronic burning smeel stuck in my nose :(
