   Zalman 92mm fan/heatsink
   XFX 7800GT 265mb video
   OCZ Powerstream 520w PSU
   OCZ El Platnium RAM 1gb (2x512mb)
   AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Venice
   Dell 2005FPW 20.1in widescreen monitor
   WinXP professional
   
   suggestions? anything i really need?

2. I have the same case, motherboard, monitor, video card (except mine is BFG), and the same power supply.
   
   You'll love them.
   
   Everything else looks good. One thing though, if you are going to be getting such a high end computer, why not go dual core?

3. Ditch that 3800+ and go with this:

   OC's well and only a little more than that Venice. Also, you may want to consider going with 2 gigs of RAM. You could cut one of those DVD DL drives and either A. go with a single drive or B. get a CDRW. That would help finance the other parts a bit.

7. For the price of 2 74GB raptors I believe you can get the new Raptor 150 which is fast as hell.
