TrackMania Nations ESWC Start Problem ( 2 Views )

1. okay... when i launch the game... it shows "Nadeo" and the game trailer. i click my mouse to skip it. then the screen goes black but i can hear the music.. it stays like that, forever, i tried to run in safe mode, but that didnt work. i uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, didnt work... i ran the benchmarks the game came with, it ran the test video fine. whats wrong???
   
   i was playing the game just last night perfectly!
   
   EDIT: i was posting this while i was alt tabbed with the game running like the way i described it above... then i alt tabbed back and it went to the main menu. :confused:

2. This happened to me for the first time today as well!

3. The same thing happened to my brothers computer yesterday and I couldn't get it to work. The game was running fine prior to that. I wonder whats going on? Anyone else have this problem?

4. i wait a couple of mins and then it loads the menu, but when i try to connect online to play, it says "bad proxy connection"

9. I think its doing online ladder checks, and since it can't connect to the server (probably because its down, hence why everyone is seeing the problem), you are basicly frozen untill it times out.
   
   I don't have it infront of me at the moment, but I believe there are some settings under the network tab on the launcher that will let you tell it not to check the online ladder at startup.

10. It's working now, for me.
    Keeps saying I'm not in official mode but I can connect online all over the world now.
    TMSunrise is working normally-so far.

12. It is up and down. I have had some connection problems the last couple of days. I had the same exact problem the original poster described earlier today. It is working just fine now. It is not your computer, it is on Nadeo's side...
