Time-lapsed popunders on major sites ( 6 Views )

1. Has anyone else noticed that some of the major sites (MSNBC, for one) is showing multiple popunders, but on a time-elapsed basis?
   
   I notice that when I go to MSNBC, I get a popunder, and I also get a hidden browser session. I have been able to get access to the code of that hidden browser session, and have noticed that it waits a certain amount of time, it spawns a second popunder, and then it closes itself.
   
   This second popunder can appear even though you are not on MSNBC's site.
   
   I know that one of the sleaze advertisers (perhaps Colonize) did this a few years ago, when you went to their site via one of their "trick" ads, they had a popup autospawner that never went away. MSNBC seems headed down this path, although they seem to cap the delivered popunders to two.

2. I've noticed that Sportsline sometimes pops up 2 on me, but it's usually right away, I've never noticed the hidden session, and there's never been the "won't go away window" (the ones that won't pop-up [and you can get rid of with ctrl-w for those that don't know]).
   
   However - I was quite surprised they are serving multiple intrusive ads considering they also have layer ads! It's quite a lot to get hit with at once sometimes.
