Problem with PHPAdsNew ( 6 Views )

1. Hi,
   
   I have phpadsnew on my site and its doing fine since last 4-5 months. Recently i had some problems from the host's end and my database was altered / crashed :(
   
   Now the issue is that i am running ads for a client and before the crash phpadsnew stats were saying 74K impressions served, yesterday the impressions where 64K and moved to 66K but when i checked today (after 14 hours maybe) stats where 65K again (... and growing)
   
   I am very much confused whats happening :bawling:
   
   any suggestions ?

2. You may want to manually run some of the maintenence scripts. One thing I would do is switch stats preference. i.e. If it's compact, switch it, and then switch back. This could reset some stuff for you and may help out getting your stats back on track.

3. Well, may be i have solved this out :< in my database settings i have activated the database pruning after every 3 weeks. I guess its causing the problem. For now i have turned it off. Lets see what happens tomorrow.

4. If you have heavy traffic and extended stats (and your server is not dedicated) I heard this can indeed cause a problem. You may want to export your stats and save them local, and then prune them.

5. pruning was the idea basically, but now i think its better to prune the db after 3 months instead of 3 weeks.
