corsair or crucial? (2x512mb) ( 2 Views )

1. i need some decent overclocking memory for cheap.
   
   Corsair XMS TWINX1024-3200C2
   
   or
   
   Crucial Ballistix BL2KIT6464Z402
   
   any opinions?

2. The currently manufactured versions of the Corsair will not overclock for anything worth much. In this case, the Crucial Ballistix modules will overclock better.
   
   Corsair is overpriced, considering that you can buy better modules for the same amount of money or slightly less. If I had known that when I got my current 3200C2 modules, I should have went for the OCZ Gold for a few dollars more.

3. if you're oc'ing, the ballistix without question. i have a set of those that do 260mhz at 2.5-2-2 and break 300mhz at 3-3-3 ;)
