Pure speculation: No Dell 2007fpw, instead a 2107fpw or 2007fp

Dell's 2005fpw panel comes from LG, and I think a lot of their older monitors had LG panels (2001fp?). If I remember correctly, Dell now has a contract to get panels for their new monitors from Samsung (2405 and 1905). Dell is about to announce the 3007fpw, and there are little birdies talking about an updated 24in and 20in lcd, the 2407 and 2007.

If you look at samsung's lcd panels, you will see a new 30in, a new 24in, but no 20in widescreen: http://www.samsung.com/Products/TFTL...amily_cd=LCD01

However, Samsung does have a 21in widescreen which is currently in HP and gateway monitors, and it has a 20in 4:3 panel.

I am totally guessing here, but I believe Dell is NOT going to make a new 20in widescreen, the 2007fpw. Instead Dell may be introducing a 21in widescreen, the 2107fpw, or maybe a new 20in 4:3 LCD, the 2007fp, to replace the 2001fp which is quite dated.
