OK so I ordered a pack of these

now after getting to stick them into my computer today (along with an X2) windows, my bios, and CPUz tell me I have 1GB of ram installed. WTF! this ram is labled as 1024 PC4000 for each stick :mad:
Now I want to know is there somthing I messed up on? Does an X2 read ram as per core? I have not reinstalled windows after this upgrade would doing that help? I would like to avoid that and since my bios reads 1GB I am inclined to believe it is not a fault of windows.
If alls well who should I contact OCZ or newegg? The ram is after all labeled as what I ordered :mad:

try 2+4
if that doesn't work, swap ram order

tried 2+4 and 2+3 nothing, Also what would swapping ram oder do :confused:
Looking at the cpu z report the cas is lower than it should be... I think they shipped me incorrect ram... :mad:

If the stickers are right, it is probably fine.

I installed two new sticks, 2x512mb of generic stuff, and at first it wouldn't even post. Then I removed one, and it worked fine. Put the other in a different slot, nothing. Switched the two sticks, and it has been beautiful every since. Sometimes certain sticks of ram just won't work with certain slots.
