When you are driving NEAR a wall and scratch your side (mirror or door) the car TURNS Directly INTO the wall...THAT IS BS...Ive NEVER EVER SEEN a car just scratch its side and then totaly TURN and drive straight INTO a wall...

Come on EA...DONT PORT TO THE PC It makes the PC GAME SUCK !!!....

Ive returned my game for a refund and Im going to wait for Oblivion instead of this let down...
IF the game had the same FEELING when driveing like Need For Speed Underground 2 then this Most Wanted would of been THE BEST CAR GAME EVER...

All I know is that NFS:MW demo has the worst driving response based on wheel input of any game I have ever played.

I've now tried it with three different steering wheels and all of them do the same craptacular thing.

Gee whiz, this topic was about the graphics in this game, not about whether EA sucks or not. It's also my opinion that this is the best Need for Speed game ever released, with Underground 2 ranking a close 2nd. This game is so demanding that I think a 2nd video card for SLI might have to be in the works for Christmas(for myself) :)

I'd have to say it does look nice. The demo runs maxxed out on the computer in my sig. (1280x1024 high everything)

Its looks nice but I expect our hardware is capable of more, and the real reason its taxing is do to poor optimization. And I hate the low res textures, the road looks pretty bad, but I just played the demo so maybe they cut back for a smaller download footprint.

Very nice shots circuit breaker, look too good to be true. (And they probably are) That bridge shot has to have a monumental poly count, not to mention the draw distance shown.

Nope, those are ingame shots ( replay most likely ) and they even said that bridge has more polys than an entire city in the first Project Gotham.

That screen isn't the best ( motion blur takes out detail ) but the first screen I posted IS how the game looks.

My favorite Need for Speed game is High Stakes, though I've only played the Most Wanted demo and not the full game. It seems slow, even though FRAPS says the frame rate is high. I guess it's because the cars in the demo suck.

I love this game, and I think that the graphics are superb. its about time a game is released and I can get into playing it. I was a huge fan of hot persuit and this game is what I have been looking for in a race game since then.

I'm unimpressed.. The textures look way low-res, and the car models could be better. GT4 looks much better IMO, but the blur doesn't let us see the textures tho...

Actually, there isn't a single Honda Civic in the entire game. I'm just upset that they left the Ford Focus out as it was my favorite car from the 2 Underground NFS's. My only complaint is that they make you have to race and unlock all of the cool cars and tracks. Of course i'll get around to unlocking them, but i'd prefer to be able to race all of the game's cars from the beginning. I just can't wait to see how well they did on the Ford GT.

As far as the game goes, those screenshots actually don't do this game justice. It looks far better when in motion. The draw distance is one of the most impressive parts and is possible one of the reasons why this game is so incredibly demanding. I am running at 1024x768 with all of the settings maxed out except for AA which is off. I've tried turning the AA onto 2x, but it slows down in some spots. This game is also the best example and use of HDR i've ever seen in a game to date.

Uh, sorry buddy, but you're wrong.Like I said, that screen has the motion blur effect, which doesn't look so good in pictures since it takes out detail. Go watch some vids or something, thats in-game. Unless you're just in denial..

what I wanted to say was yea Helicopters are in the game but you need to get a flame rating of like 4 or 5 but inorder to get a rating of 4 or 5 you gotta like beat black lister #9 (unlock all the citys basicly)

There is no comparison when you compare the quality graphics wise, that NFSMW looks incredibly more detailed and badass on my PC. I wish I knew how to take screenshots as there are a LOT more details on a high end PC. However, i'm having more fun on the X360 as the frame rates are so buttery smooth, and playing it on a widescreen display really helps you get into the game better. However, the kick in the nuts is that lazy EA equipped the xbox360 version with full dolby 5.1, while the PC version only get's 2 channel stereo. This alone gives sole advantage to the X360 IMHO as the 5.1 channel audio really sinks you into the action.
