Internet troubles....No connection ( 2 Views )

1. just built this computer and I popped in my WinXP disc and did a format. During the setup I got a message asking me to pop in my WinXP which was already in there so it could find "cmprops.dll" , all I could do was cancel because it couldn't find it. A second later it popped up again but it could not find "iexplore.exe". Again, I had to cancel. So When I booted to windows I found out I had no internet connectivity. I tried copying the "cmprops.dll" file to its correct place thinking that was it but no luck and I tried installing IE but still nothing. Also, I get an error with "RPC server" when I try to install my ATI drivers from its disc. What is going on with this??!! Please help! Thanks in advance!
   
   I've also tried to reformat 2 other times but I get the same errors every time.
   System specs are as follows: XP 3000+, MSI K8N Neo4, 1 GB Crucial Value Select Memory, WD 160 GB ATA version, ATI x800Pro
