If we could persuade wankel to make a qpack bag, How many of you would be insterested ( 2 Views )

1. I am going to bring up wankel the idea of making us qpack LAN bags, I would like to know how many of you qpackers would buy one. Massive? Mich? Steeeeve?

4. I'd be all over it, however I have asked him many times and he is too swamped with LCD case orders. But maybe if we show him there is enough interest, i.e. $$$ in it, he will go for it. :cool

8. There is no way it would be under 65 bucks shipped. If he is using high quality materials, foam, a strap worth its salt, and giving you slots for mouse, power cables, network cable, and a keybaord holder on the top the price would be closer to $75. Why because this is limited runs, and that would be quite a bit of work. If he wants to make any money on it, that would be about right. We are talking about 4 to 5 hours of work, if he is making even 8 bucks an hour we are talking 32-40 bucks just on labor.

9. It really depends on the cost/look/ and quality of the case. If he could make one up and give us an idea of what it will be like, then I would gladly pay for one.

13. I can't believe I didn't see this thread earlier...So I'm assuming no one else makes anything that will work with a Qpack case? I've been toying with the idea of making a carrying strap for PC cases that includes a feature to lock my monitor case to it, making it all one unit. But, until I find someone one start making the monitor cases for me I don't have much time to design something new. It doesn't look like it would be very difficult to design something for the Qpack, should be much easier than the monitor case. So what features would you need? Way to carry the Keyboard, mouse, & cables all together. Would you want a strap similar to other designs or something that completely covers the case, like a bag? Straps would be cheaper. Not sure about cost it all depends on what you want and how difficult it is to make.

    I would say a case like used use for the 2*05's, With some foam, to allow the extra room, for the keyboard, mouse, games, and some straps for things like games, or headphones.
