Overclock with CoreCell
The all new K8N series will not be complete without MSI's unique CoreCell technology which includes the popular D.O.T. that monitors the whole system to fine-tune the voltage and fan speed, and at the same time auto-downloads the latest BIOS and drivers through Live Update 3, so that all K8N users can enjoy a stable and high-performance platform.
Enjoy!!

430 SB, but likes like regular 5.1 audio.................wonder if it actually has the Azalea.

Nice, looks like one of the better stacked T-force boards. Wonder how it overclocks,
gonna keep my eye on this one.

Aren't these the same pics from a long time ago?

Why is gigabyte the only board maker to give us SPDIF optical out on the 6150 board...
At least MSI supports component video.
(özlem, Andorra)
That'd look mighty sexy in a black qpack, w/ a x1800xt.
(güner, Slovakia)
Doh!
Now I don't know if i should have bought the asus a8n vm csm...probably should have waited, but i can't wait that long :(

I see in your sig you have this board, the non-btx version. WTF, did you get it? I am really insterested in this board?
(Barış, Egypt)
Er...is it just me, or is the layout flipped from how you'd expect a motherboard to be, in that picture? :o

It's flipped :D
Micro-btx, so you install it on the bottom of a HTPC case essentially.
Still...good eye!

You, have no clue when these are going to be released.
(bülent, Luxembourg)
hmm...since I haven't seen any specs on the BTX version, there's a chance (to me atleast) that that Via chip is for a on-board Envy audio solution.
It would be nice if the 6150/430 ATX version had either SB- or Envy-based onboard audio.

You can see most of the lettering on the chip: VT630_
VT6301: Firewire
6302:Firewire
6303: Firewire
6304: Firewire
See a pattern here?
Seems like the 630x family of ICs is for IEEE1394 (mostly 1394a) support- no Envy, sorry!

actually they dont. read the motherboards.org review.
u can buy the asus spdif bracket for under $10 shipped from ebay.
i have a a8n-vm csm.
why would anyone produce a onboard solution now days without dvi???????
seems idiotic. especially in the foward looking platform of BTX.
(zafer, Martinique)
I really dont like the idea of sticking all the IDE and SATA slots right smack dab in the middle of the board. Seems like a wiring headache waiting to happen.
(taha, Equatorial Guinea)
So I'm guessing someone's sources were wrong since we haven't seen the release of this board... (that or i'm a blind fool)
(meltem , Suriname)
Swedish retailer Komplett have a preliminary release date of 1/1/2006..
(......, Moldova, Republic of)
Which HTPC, or just reasonably small, cases can you actually put the mini-BTX board in?
It seems mini-BTX would be more of a liability than a feature.
