1. Let's say that I have a table that is 1 row * 2 columns. And in each of these columns, I include (either thru' PHP or SSI) a webpage that is not mine. Let's say that in 1 column is http://www.yahoo.com and in the other column is http://www.goto.com
   
   Is there a way where I can specify all links within a certain cell to open in a new target/window even though the site in which I embedded them into a column is using links which replace the existing window ?

2. No, no, and no.
   
   
   First its impossible to do this with SSI since you're remotely including files.
   
   Second, on these included files many images and links may not work anyways since they may have relative path names.
   
   Third you could get sued
   
   Fourth, to make them all open into a new window you would have to have a base target = "new" tag and specify all your other links to load into self.

4. Because you are attempting to do what is commonly called as "passing off". You are passing off someone else's content as your own by embedding it within your page.

5. Nicky's right. By 'embedding' content without the original provider's permission, you are effectively contravening copyright laws. This applies to all content, graphics and site layouts on the Net. So best to get permission from the original provider first before thinking about 'passing off' the content.
