digi cam software? ( 2 Views )

1. i just got a cyber shot and am wondering if you guys think i should install the software. i ask because when i previously used sony devices the software was a pain to use (open mg jukebox). would it be enough to just use the drivers so that the camera can xfer to windows?

2. I've never been a fan of any factory based software to transfer pictures to the PC.
   
   I've always used opened the memory card folder and transferred onto the hard drive, and then did any type of resizing/editing from the local drive.
   
   The only exceptions to this would be photo stich software.
