Which MB would be better? ( 2 Views )

1. Howdy,
   
   I have 2 MB's that I have narrowed down (need 2 IDE connectors) which one would be better.

   I'm leaning towards the MSI, but would appreciate any input.
   
   My only worry about the MSI is the placement of the fan and whether or not it will get in the way of my graphics card, since it would have to go into the 1st PCI-E slot since i need both PCI slots.

2. You would likely be better off getting whatever motherboard you like and a $15-20 IDE controller card.

3. I would try that, but I have heard to many bad things about those controllers.

4. Gigabyte has @BIOS which is a fool proof BIOS flashing application within Windows, I have used it and it worked, and another less computer-orientated user used it and it worked for him also.
