Inline object and its effect on SEO ( 3 Views )

1. I plan to add an inline object like this one

   ---

   in some page. I have no intension to get http://www.mySite.com/someURL indexed in search engines; it'll be just a new feature in my site. I'm pretty sure that this does not affect SEO in the page that embeds this object but I want to make sure. Does embedding an inline object have any effect on SEO?

2. I'm thinking that google does index <object> tags on pages for gathering flash files that have been appearing in the SERPS for a while. This could be just for flash and not sure the extent but it must get the info from somewhere..

   Well, I'm not worried about whether search engines will index the file referenced in <object> tag. I'm just wondering if having <object> tag(s) can affect SEO at all for the page that has <object> tag(s). Probably not, and probably I am being too cautious, but I just wanted to check.
