Does having .cfm affect SEO? ( 4 Views )

1. Hey guys, I am building some content pages for rivermarinesupply.com, (you can currently see the content pages at the bottom of any page.) And was wondering, is having a .cfm going to affect its SEO rating? I mean, the only reason its being .cfm is so the add to cart can be executed and so the footer is dynamic.
   
   Also, would you say that the content pages were done correctly? I used alt tags, H1 tags, a good amount of content, keyword density.

   You hear this alot. Keyword density...are you saying it is a smoke and mirrors trick by SEOs to make SEO sound mysterious and like black magic. Because that is how this particular part of SEO come across to me.
