mouse/keyboard port adapter to USB forUSB keychain storage device ( 2 Views )

no kitty!
  1. I have a USB keychain device that i would like to use on my laptop which is very old.
133 mhz.a It has a keyboard/mouse output but no USB outputs. am i able to use a adapter thing to allow usb to plug into the keyboard port and still transfer the data?
    thanks

  2. I don't think this will work. Just because it can adapt doesn't mean that it will work; there have been plenty of keyboards/mice that are USB that will not adapt to PS/2. The same goes for the storage device.

  3. I can't see it working. The adapter doesn't convert the PS2 port to USB port, it converts a USB keyboard/mouse to a PS2 device. The adapter is only meant to work with a keyboard or mouse.
